About
Hi, I'm Maggie.
I write cookbooks for people who want to cook from scratch without starting from zero every night.
My kitchen runs on jars. Taco seasoning, a master baking mix, a layered bean soup, a tin of hot cocoa: each one takes a few minutes to stir together, and each one turns a busy evening into something that feels homemade because it is.
I started filling them because the packets and boxes kept getting smaller, saltier and more expensive, and because I wanted to know what was actually in them. What began as a few seasoning jars became a whole shelf, then a notebook, then a book.
What you'll find here
- Recipes that are tested and written the same way every time: what goes in the jar, what you add on cooking day, how long it keeps.
- Honest labels. Vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, dairy-free and sodium levels are checked against every ingredient, not guessed.
- Practical printables for labeling jars, planning meals and keeping track of what's on the shelf.
- Cookbooks, starting with The Dry Mix Pantry Cookbook, with more on the way.
I answer every email myself. If a recipe doesn't work for you, or you've found a better way to do something, I'd genuinely like to hear about it: get in touch.
